‘Gastrotour’ in Kirov!

A bright gastronomic event took place in Kirov - the film crew of the federal project ‘Gastrotour’ visited our city to get acquainted with the unique features of Vyatka cuisine.
The centre of the shooting day was the FOUR restaurant, where the guests were met by the brand-chef Ivan Khonin. He shared the history and philosophy of local cuisine, told about traditional products of the region and modern approaches to their presentation.
The culmination of the meeting was the preparation of a meat tataki dish with a Vyatka accent - stylish, thinly sliced meat, fried on the edges but remaining juicy inside.
"Vyatka cuisine is not only tradition, but also a space for experimentation. We take familiar flavours and serve them in a way that would be interesting for our guests and for the whole of Russia," shared Ivan Khonin.
In addition to participating in the culinary process, the project host Alexander also tasted dishes from the special gastronomic project ‘Vyatsky Dinner’, which introduces guests to the depth and diversity of local cuisine through seasonal flavours and local products.
